Have people in your life that when they’re name comes on your newsfeed, it makes you feel uncomfortable.
For the love of god have people who make you have a past. Even if it’s bloody and filled with angry words and 2 am confessions.
Have people that make you regret every single choice you ever fucking made while you were with them.
Have people who walked away from you. And who you walked away from.
Have people who know what your name sounds like at 3 am when it’s choked out in sobs or screamed out in moans.
Have people who only know you by your 2 am philosophical side. I call mine rose.
Have people who only know you by what you are in the club with music in your ears. That girl that dances like a slut.
Have people who you don’t talk to anymore because they’ve known you since you were 12 and looking at them is like looking at the person both of you could have been. And sometimes you miss who that person was.
Have people who you can call no matter what and they’ll drop everything because they see stars in your eyes, even when you cant.
Have people who could draw a map of every inch of your skin, because some nights you’re going to forget what it looks like.
Have people that make you change. Even if you’re only changing because you can’t look in the mirror at the person they once loved.
Have people in your life that makes things sting. Because it’s worth it. Oh god is it worth it.
